Hi,
Not sure how to search the forum, so apologies if this has been asked before.
I am currently working in industry as Financial Controller of a listed company. I am increasingly fed up of the stresses involved, and the lack of work/life balance caused by long hours and taking work home etc.
One aspect of my job (and all my previous jobs) is coaching, mentoring, and training staff. As a result, I have for some time thought that I would really enjoy tutoring at a college such as BPP or Kaplan, and from what I understand, the working conditions would be more palatable too!
My worry is that it might be difficult to go back into industry a few years down the line if I wanted to. Basically, is there life after tutoring? Will employers see that bit of my CV as "those who can't, teach"?
Thanks
