A mark of respect

Monday night was a big night for the marketing profession with the 50th Anniversary of the Marketing Society Awards for Excellence 2009. It was also a big night for the ICAEW as of one of the finalists for the Brand Revitalisation category.  We were one of the four finalists, alongside Royal Mail, Stanley and eventual winners, BT Business, in what was one of the most strongly contended categories this year.

These awards set the standard for marketing excellence in the UK across all business sectors and just being nominated was a real achievement for us, as well as recognition of just how far the ICAEW brand has been transformed. This, together with being named a UK Business Superbrand this year, should give us all real pride in our institute and the role that we play, especially in the current economic crisis.
