Some users are having problems with the new disks issued in February
HMRC has published a note on its website drawing attention to some problems and errors which may affect users of the employer CD-ROM 2010 disks issued in February.
- You may experience a problem running the Diagnostic Tool installed with the Employer CD-ROM. There is an issue with the Employer CD-ROM 2010 and Norton Internet Security/Norton 360 which affects in particular users of Windows XP and Vista.
- There is an error in the P11 calculator on the 2009 disk. The error occurs where previous pay and tax has been entered on the P11 calculator. An error message will appear when you open the CD-ROM 2010 after you have installed it in some circumstances.
