HMRC reminds claimants of the 31 July deadline
HMRC has issued an urgent reminder to tax credit claimants: “renew your claim by the 31 July deadline, or your payments will stop.”
The HMRC message is a tough one, designed (as one would expect) to make people sit up and take action. However, although the 31 July deadline is crucial, missing it does not mean that payments will stop instantly, and there are ways to put things right.
