ICAEW Tax Faculty publishes practical guide TAXtools 4 

The Tax Faculty has published TAXtools 4 – Making complaints to HMRC. This gives guidance for tax agents and advisers on what to do if you find yourself needing to make a complaint to or about HMRC. It includes advice and useful links on:  

  • What is a complaint?
  • How to avoid the need to make a complaint
  • What to do if you want to complain
  • Seeking redress
