Xero's crucial step

 

On Monday next, Xero will go public with an explanation of the above video. They have given me permission to write this in advance. I'm hoping that by Monday, community members will have gotten over the trauma of tax filing season and be open to fresh ideas.

For some time I've held the view that practitioners need to be active in helping clients and that on-demand solutions are a very good way
of achieving that.

In the video, Xero briefly outlines how professionals can use a practitioners 'dashboard' to both onboard and assist clients in managing their affairs securely and with minimum effort. This is a massive step forward and one that should be welcomed by all who are endeavouring to find fresh ways to add value. It reduces latency - the time between something emerging and action being taken plus provides an easy way to manage clients in real time.

Given the current economic climate, that's the kind of goodness that everyone can understand.
