Vat on charities - I understand that vat is to be charged on bulk mailing costs. Working for a charity this will affect our finances significantly. Is anyone aware of whether there will be any relief for charities by way of a lower rate of vat? Our major expenditure is in sending out our bimonthly magazine, it has been suggested our printing firm can take advantage of the package test and get the printers to both print & mail the magazine and zero rate as a single supply. Will there be any changes to this package test?
